1) About these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website styxaudio.com and any content, pages, or services that link to these Terms (the Site). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

2) Relationship with Audioloom

Styx Audio does not process orders or payments on the Site. Checkout, payment processing, license issuance, and device activations are provided by Audioloom Inc. on Audioloom systems. Purchases are governed by Audioloom terms, refund policies, and privacy practices. For questions about orders, payments, delivery of license keys, or activations, contact support@audioloom.com.

If a separate End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to a plugin or software, the EULA controls your use of that software. If these Terms conflict with a product EULA, the EULA prevails for that product.

3) Eligibility

You may use the Site only if you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence and can form a binding contract. If you access the Site on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company.

4) Accounts and communications

If the Site allows you to create an account or subscribe to updates, you must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your credentials.

By providing an email, you agree to receive transactional and service messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

5) Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, product names, audio examples, and layouts, is owned by or licensed to Styx Audio and protected by law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Site for personal or internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, mirror, frame, scrape, or create derivative works from the Site or its content, except as allowed by mandatory law or with our written permission.

Trademarks, product names, and logos on the Site are the property of their respective owners. No rights are granted except as stated.

6) User content and feedback

If you send ideas, feedback, or materials, you grant Styx Audio a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish them for any lawful purpose. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share or that contains confidential information.

7) Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• violate laws or third-party rights
• attempt to access systems or data without authorization
• interfere with Site operation or impose an unreasonable load
• use bots, scrapers, or similar tools to extract data without written permission
• upload malware or harmful code
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• bypass or disable security or consent mechanisms, including cookie controls

8) Third-party services and links

The Site may link to third-party sites, services, pixels, or SDKs, including Audioloom and advertising or analytics partners. Their terms and policies apply to their services. Styx Audio is not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9) Information on the Site

We try to keep information accurate, but errors may occur. Content, features, and availability can change at any time. Nothing on the Site is professional advice.

10) Advertising, analytics, and cookies

The Site may use analytics and advertising technologies, for example Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar partners. These services may set cookies or collect identifiers to measure performance and deliver ads. Where required, non-essential cookies and pixels run only after you give consent in the Site cookie interface. You can change preferences at any time through the cookie settings link on the Site.

11) Software and licenses

If you obtain software or licenses through Audioloom, your rights to use that software are set out in the applicable EULA presented at or before checkout. Audioloom handles delivery of license keys and activations. We may assist with product support on request.

12) Refunds

Due to the nature of Audioloom non-tangible digital goods, it is not possible to “return a product”. Audioloom therefore does not regularly offer any refunds or exchanges after purchase.

You can use the 14 day trial to test the plugin to a full extent before deciding on a purchase.

13) Export control and sanctions

You must comply with all applicable export, re-export, and sanctions laws. You may not use the Site or any software in prohibited jurisdictions or for prohibited end uses.

14) DMCA and takedowns

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice with details to info@styxaudio.com. We may remove or disable content in response to proper notices.

15) Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Styx Audio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free.

16) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Styx Audio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed 100 USD or the amount you paid to us for Site access during the 12 months before the event, whichever is greater. These limits apply even if a remedy fails its essential purpose. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

17) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Styx Audio from claims, damages, losses, costs, and fees, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

18) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts located in the City of Buenos Aires have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If your local law provides non-waivable consumer protections or forums, those rights remain in force.

19) Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version applies from the effective date shown at the top. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required.

20) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, including if you violate these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive will survive termination, for example intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
